Dump stickers good until May 1

The landfill/dump stickers that expired March 31 can be used until May 1, town of­ficials announced.

To renew, you will need a $25 check or money order made payable to the “Town of Salem,” a self-addressed stamped envelope, and a photocopy of your current registration for the vehicle that the landfill/dump sticker will be going on.

Submit your renewal to Town Clerk, 33 Geremonty Drive, Salem, NH 03079, OR drop your renewal in a sealed envelope in the drop box at the front of the Town Hall. Cash is NOT an acceptable form of payment.

For those age 65 or over or 100% permanently and totally disabled (with a letter des­ignating such from the Social Security Administration or Veteran Affairs Office), provide a photocopy of your vehicle registration only, as your landfill/dump sticker is free for the first vehicle. Additional stickers to the same household cost $25 each.

Dump stickers will be mailed to the resident and address listed on the submitted car registration.
